Notice for second public hearing: City of Lonoke Sewer Rehabilitation Project

Notice: City of Lonoke Public Hearing

A second public hearing regarding the City of Lonoke’s ongoing Sewer Rehabilitation Project—funded through the Arkansas Economic Development Commission’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program—will take place on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. The hearing will be held at Lonoke City Hall, 107 W. Second Street, Lonoke, AR 72086.

This hearing serves as an opportunity to update residents on the current scope and progress of the project and share any changes that have occurred since the initial public hearing on August 14, 2023.

Topics will include project financing, user fees, beneficiary updates, and any adjustments that may affect the community as the project advances.

Citizens are invited to provide both oral and written comments, ask questions, and discuss any potential impacts the project may have on daily life throughout its implementation.

The City values community input and encourages all residents to be part of the development process.

All residents of Lonoke are encouraged to attend and participate.
