Our Services

Central Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc. 

is a non-profit organization established and funded through State and Federal funding and governed by local County and Municipal governments serving Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline counties since 1968.

CAPDD has access to a wide range of economic development resources thanks to close relationships to our communities and wide partner network.

The Central Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District is one of eighteen districts across the State of Arkansas.

 

The District service area includes Lonoke, Monroe, and Prairie counties.

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), a federally financed initiative, helps Americans find long-term, high-paying jobs.

 

Our objective is to expand the labor pipeline through training and educational opportunities in order to foster an environment where businesses thrive and people are able to find jobs at higher wages, improving their quality of life.

We are responsible for mapping and the management of information for all addresses within Prairie County.

This information is the primary source utilized by 911 dispatchers in the county for the routing of emergency first responders.
