The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District, Inc. (CAPDD) is now accepting applications and resumes for a Career Consultant to be based at the Arkansas Workforce Center in North Little Rock. This position will serve job seekers and employers throughout Pulaski and Saline Counties, supporting workforce development efforts across the Central Arkansas region.
The ideal candidate will possess a formal education equivalent to an associate degree. Additional experience in job training, workforce services, or other people-oriented roles is strongly preferred. Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both written and verbal formats. Strong computer skills are required, along with reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within the Central Arkansas area as needed. Related or equivalent education and experience may be considered in place of formal educational requirements.
The selected applicant will be required to complete a criminal background check and drug screening following a conditional offer of employment, unless a current background check is already on file.
