The City of Lonoke has initiated a Parks & Recreations Grant application in partnership with Central Arkansas Planning and Development District.
Under normal circumstances this process entails a public hearing. However, in lieu of COVID-19 precautions, we are soliciting public comments online. Residents are encouraged to post any recommendations they feel may help identify potential outdoor park and recreational needs for our community.
Following this identification process, city officials will provide a list of submissions to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism for review. Ethnic minorities, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and special interest groups are especially encouraged to participate.
