The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD) Board of Directors will hold its next meeting on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will take place at the CAPDD Office, located at 902 North Center Street in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Board meetings are an important opportunity for CAPDD leadership to discuss regional initiatives, organizational updates, and ongoing efforts to support economic and community development throughout the district. These meetings help guide programs and services that benefit local communities across Central Arkansas.
The governing body of the CAPDD comprises twenty-five (25) members of the Board of Directors: fifteen (15) local elected officials and ten (10) private citizens representing the various social and economic elements of the population. Four (4) board members represent each of the six (6) participating counties in the District. Minority representation on the Board shall be the same percentage as that of the District population.

As a major tool of the Economic Development Administration, the Development District Program is intended to promote economic growth through multi-county planning and investment. Arkansas's federal and state governments use the Planning and Development Districts as a service delivery system.
