Services
Central Arkansas Planning and Development District is a non-profit organization established and funded through State and Federal funding and governed by local County and Municipal governments serving Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline counties since 1968.
You will gain access to a wide range of economic development resources thanks to CAPDD's close relationships to our communities and wide partner network.
We place a strong emphasis on going above and beyond expectations and offer knowledgeable, committed staff who can facilitate a range of services and support.
The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District is dedicated to offering the staff services that our member municipal and county governments require, as well as grant writing and grant management.
Workforce Development
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), a federally financed initiative, helps Americans find long-term, high-paying jobs.
Our objective is to expand the labor pipeline through training and educational opportunities in order to foster an environment where businesses thrive and people are able to find jobs at higher wages, improving their quality of life.
Mission:
To serve as a catalyst for economic, community and workforce development; thereby ensuring, through regional preparedness, the local units of government and the citizens of Central Arkansas have the capability to plan and direct sustainable economic growth, including the human potential to meet the challenging demands of the global job market.
