WHO WE ARE
The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD), established in 1968, is a non-profit, multi-county, multi-purpose, and multi-funded Planning and Development Organization serving Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline Counties.
Through CAPDD's close relationship with our communities and extensive partner network, you'll benefit from a robust spectrum of economic development resources. We focus on exceeding expectations and provide experienced and dedicated personnel who can facilitate various services and support.
The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District is committed to providing grant writing, grant management, and staff services needed by our member municipal and county governments.
COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Working with a variety of funding sources, staff members assist cities and counties with applications for grant funds, and administer the projects once they are funded.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
The Central Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District is one of eighteen districts across the State of Arkansas. The District service area includes the three counties of Lonoke, Monroe, and Prairie.
The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is a federal funded program that connects Americans to high wage sustainable jobs. Through training and educational opportunities, our goal is to increase the workforce pipeline to create an environment where businesses succeed and people secure employment at a higher wage, leading to the enhancement to their quality of life.
