Recycling Tips

Household Hazardous Waste

The average home has dozens of chemicals that can pose a health hazard to you, your family and to the natural environment, if not managed responsibly. Improper disposal of these wastes can cause harm to humans, plants, animals, soils and ground water. For more information please visit the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality.

Solid Waste Management Compliance

Municipal solid waste is what is commonly thought of as trash or garbage.  Because of the growth in the amount of materials thrown away, many communities across Arkansas and the nation have developed diverse management practices in handling trash, commonly referred to as integrated solid waste management.

Below are policies and procedures necessary to properly manage the solid waste in our district.
