The state of Arkansas recently launched Arkansas Ready to keep local government informed on statewide directives and guidelines, as well as information pertaining to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

LOCAL BUSINESSES 

The information below includes informative resources & funding opportunities for Local Businesses within Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline counties.

 

CARES ACT REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM

Small businesses located within Faulkner, Lonoke, Monroe, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline Counties that experienced a negative financial impact as a result of COVID-19 may be eligible for this loan program. The loan is designed to help PROFITABLE businesses (who have been in business for at least two years) remain financially viable, expand operations, retain and expand employment. The maximum loan available is $100,000, with an interest rate of 3% and may be repaid up to 5 years. 

ARKANSAS SMALL BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTER

The center is a university-based economic development program that assists entrepreneurs, both new and seasoned. They help with every aspect of business creation, management, and operation. You can receive one-to-one confidential consulting and cutting-edge market research at no charge, or expand your expertise by participating in our affordable training. As the state’s premier business assistance provider, the ASBTDC is dedicated to helping small businesses achieve success and to promoting economic development throughout the state. 

SCORE LITTLE ROCK

Little Rock SCORE offers free and confidential business advice and advice customized to suit your small business needs and your personal goals. SCORE provides courses, both for start-up and in-business entrepreneurs, for a nominal fee. Client service is their objective and their volunteer business counselors are dedicated to providing the best possible service. Their counselors can provide you with in-depth, industry-specific business assistance to help evaluate a business idea or plan, stimulate business growth and ensure long-term stability.
