Welcome to the Workforce Centers of Central and Southeast Arkansas. The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD) is the agency that manages the Arkansas Workforce Centers in Central and Southeast Arkansas. CAPDD is also the agency that administers the adult, dislocated worker, and youth employment and training programs under Title I of the federal Workforce Investment Act. More information about the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) may be found by visiting the Web sites of the U.S Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration (USDOL ETA) and the Arkansas Workforce Investment Board (AWIB). The primary Internet connection for Arkansas job seekers and employers is Arkansas JobLink. This service is available to anyone with access to the Internet. Arkansas Workforce Center staff will assist center patrons to use this service.

Arkansas Workforce Centers operated by CAPDD are accessible to people with disabilities. Our resource areas are equipped with many assistive devices and technologies to assist our patrons. These devices and technologies include talking software (scan-and-read and JAWS screen reader), talking calculators, a variety of magnifying devices, high-intensity lamps, headphones and telephones with amplifiers, specialized keyboards and mice, adjustable height tables, TDD/TTY telephones, many documents in alternative formats (Braille, large-print, and tape), and many others. Sign language and foreign language interpreters are available with advance notice, usually 72 hours or less.
